A sacred site, known as Murujuga, is home to the largest and oldest collection of rock art in the world but is under threat from the mining industry. Connection To Country, an award-nominated documentary, highlights the resilient push made by the Traditional Owners of Western Australia’s Pilbara region to protect the Burrup Peninsula.

Come and see Connection to Country to join the conversation about protecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural heritage.

This is a free public event hosted by the University of Western Australia Archsoc as part of National Archaeology Week.
