Vic: Archaeology and Shared Heritage in Mernda – Victorian Launch of National Archaeology Week

The Mernda Rail Extension Project and the City of Whittlesea are partnering to present a special National Archaeology Week launch event on Monday 21 May, at Whittlesea Civic Centre.

Learn about the rich local history through artefacts discovered in last year’s dig in Plenty Gorge Park. The event will showcase two talks from archaeologists in the know:

  • The Archaeology of the Old Bridge Inn – Dr Michelle Negus Cleary.
  • Historical Survey of the South Morang to Mernda Heritage Railway Line – Jasmine Scibilia.

When: Monday 21 May 2018, 10:00am to 11:30am
