SA: Unlocking the Secrets of Historic Glenthorne at O’Halloran Hill

A walking tour of State heritage-listed buildings and ruins constructed by Major O’Halloran during the 1840s and a presentation about the role of the Glenthorne No.9 Remount Depot during World War One, together with a display and presentation of cavalry and whaler artefacts from the Army Museum of SA.

11.30am: Tour of the heritage precinct and revegetation areas with Dr Keryn Walshe, South Australian Museum and Friends of Glenthorne. Inspection of displays.

1.00pm: Talks by Dr Pamela Smith, Flinders University and by Army Museum staff. Refreshments and BBQ available. No disabled access.
