Virtus Heritage and Pottsville Beach Neighbourhood Centre present a National Archaeology Week event.
Entertainment: Local Yugambeh man Magpie will open the event with music and dancing.
- Kites or planes will be made from craft paper, with pictures to be coloured in depicting various cultures of the world.
- Bracelets will be made from bush vine, with Magpie facilitating this activity.
- Sandpit dig. Children will dig for ‘artefacts’ in the sandpit under the guidance of Virtus Heritage Principal Archaeologist Mary-Jean Sutton and Senior Archaeologist Julian Travaglia.
