In support of National Archaeology Week 2016, members of the Centre for Classical and Near Eastern Studies of Australia (CCANESA) will present glimpses into their research at an evening of short talks. Interested students and general public alike are invited to attend the lectures and the informal discussion session.
Breaking New Ground introduces current research by senior Faculty in the Department of Archaeology who will talk about Prehistoric Kashmir, the early Iranian copper industry, the Geometric period settlement of Zagora on the Cycladic island of Andros, and the Throne of the Priest of Dionysos in the theatre at Athens.
The talks will be followed by light refreshments in the foyer at CCANESA.
